FOUNDER
Why we built Briqly and for whom.
Indy Sandhu — Founder, Briqly
I started Briqly because I saw a growing and unfair gap in how technology was serving businesses. Big brands were pouring millions into AI tools that could answer customers instantly, book in seconds, and sell more without a single staff member lifting a finger. They were faster, more efficient, and always available.
Meanwhile, small businesses such as independent salons, spas, and massage studios that make our neighborhoods feel alive were stuck doing everything manually. Owners were juggling phone calls between appointments, missing bookings while serving clients, and spending hours on repetitive front-desk work after hours. Every missed call was a missed opportunity. Every delayed response chipped away at their ability to compete.
The gap was not just noticeable it was widening every year. I knew that if nothing changed, small businesses would lose more customers to larger competitors who could simply respond faster.
With my background in business analytics and software development, I knew there was a way to change this. I decided to build something designed specifically for small businesses not a generic AI tool but a specialized receptionist that understands their world. Briqly was built to be that bridge.
Our AI receptionist works 24/7, speaks in a friendly, human tone, books directly into their calendar, and never misses a chance to suggest an add-on that a client will appreciate. It’s like having your most reliable front-desk staff member on duty all day, every day without the stress or cost.
Vision
We believe small businesses should never be left behind in the AI era. Briqly exists to close that gap once and for all.
Our vision is to create an AI teammate that does everything a great front desk would do: answer calls immediately, book appointments flawlessly, confirm details, handle messages, and recommend the right extras without being limited to business hours or tied to a physical location.
This is not just about automation, it’s about fairness. It’s about making sure the businesses that give our communities their character and charm can stand toe-to-toe with the biggest players in their industry.
When technology is only available to large corporations, it becomes a weapon that pushes smaller competitors out. When it is available to everyone, it becomes a level playing field where the best service and relationships win.
That’s the future we’re building with Briqly: where the corner salon answers faster than a national chain, where a local massage studio can upsell the perfect add-on, where no call is missed and no client is lost. Briqly is here so small businesses aren’t just keeping up with technology they’re using it to win.
